The Mine Talk blog is a place to discuss the application of the Canadian mining company, Emgold, to reopen the Idaho-Maryland mine in Grass Valley. Special attention will be paid to the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR).
The first DEIR was found in early 2009 to be inadequate and the City of Grass Valley has instructed Emgold to reissue and recirculate it.
